No need to go far

So the other day I woke up and I guess we had recieved a ton of rain because when I looked out our window at the park this i saw a huge lake!!! It was like Christmas! Bonneville park has been made into a water catch, and boy does it do a good job. So i decided to go play in it. it was early and my wife hadn't gotten out of bed yet, i ran in the bedroom, hunted for my swimming suit and water shoes, the whole time while yelling out of excitement "The park is a lake! Get the camera, I'm going in!!!" Well in a few minutes she got up and got the camera and here is what transpired.

Here I am in amazement of how much water is here. It was about 25 yards wide by fifty yards long, and i had no clue how deep, but i could tell, it was deep!

Here i am testing out the water, man it was cold. But just like the brave little toaster, I just keep going and going, oh wait that was the little engine that could, so i was more like the brave little engine that could.

I haven't dunked myself yet, i told tif to get the camera ready, what a good action shot!

P.S. It's cold water.

Next i thought i'd snag my pole and see if i couldn't catch us some breakfast. Fish breakfast burrito anyone? Needless to say the only thing i caught was a cold and pneumonia. But it sure was fun.

Well i still wasn't satisfied so i called tif's brother justin over and told him to bring his bike. I still couldn't believe that the neighborhood kids weren't out there with me, but no one came, i was all alone to enjoy this for as long as i wanted. Well justin got here and we took his bike off jumps into the water, it was a blast! This is me in the middle trying not to lose his bike to the great sea monster of bonneville park.

So here we are after a good long morning of messing around in big puddle/lake things at the park. We are cold, well maybe just me, justin seemed pretty content to stay there all day, but i was freezing and thought it best to go in.

Varsity Blues

Ok so i though i'd add some more pictures. sorry we aren't that good at this whole blogging thing yet, but we sure try. So here are some football pictures of kyle coaching.

Happy or mad? You decide. Ok fine, i'll tell you... mad. we aren't winning. this was a scrimmage that we hhad at timpview with just the freshmen team that i am the head coach of and well, we didn't do that good. oh well, we had fun.

Here is a picture of the game we just had last thursday against pleasant grove. we didn't do that good in thhis game either, we lost 65-0 or something like that, but guess what? on the scoreboard it said pleasant grove vs. provo, so technically we didn't lose, ha ha ha, suckers! I haven't called provo's coach to let them know of the bad game they had, still waiting for the right words... " hi, coach... uhm... we played in your behalf and... well... i guess you guys lost... bad. sorry." That should do the trick.

Here is a bbeautiful sight to behold during a varsity game. check out the full moon coming up over the mountains, wow!

Here is last friday's varsity game vs. hunter. it was close and they are jerks. they want to fight us every play. at the end of the game one of our kids actually got in a fight with one of theirs and they both got ejected, not to mention those coaches who left the coaches box to break it up might get tossed for next weeks game too, oh wait... that was me. yeah i might get ejected from next fridays game because i went down to "fight" some high school kids, whatever.

Here is the final score of our varsity game. we won it on a last second QB scramble to the endzone. the fight happened right after the touchdown. GO T-WOLVES!!!!! FIGHT, WIN, PREVAIL!!!!
